How to correctly distinguish the packaging materials?

1. PVC material characteristics: It is one of the most used materials for Yongyu PVC packaging box. It has moderate price, strong toughness, good moldability, good transparency and easy observation. It should be easily stored in low temperature environment and will be easily broken.

Sensory identification: The appearance is very similar to EVA but flexible.

Identification of combustion: black smoke when burning, extinguished from fire, the burning surface is black, no melting dripping phenomenon.


2, PP plastic box material characteristics: material soft and tough, environmentally friendly non-toxic, relatively high temperature, but poor plasticity, blistering difficulty, lack of luster on the surface, showing matte

Sensory identification: This product is white transparent and has higher transparency than LDPE.

Identification of combustion: When burning, the flame is yellow and blue, smells like oil, melts and drops, and there is no black smoke when burning.


3, PP + PET material characteristics: This material is a composite material, the surface is sturdy, wear-resistant, plasticity is good, the characteristics are very similar to PVC materials.

Sensory identification: Appearance is like PP, the transparency is very high, and the sound is louder than PP.

Identification of combustion: There is black smoke when burning, the flame has a flashover phenomenon, and the burning surface is black carbonized.


4, PE + PP copolymer: low density, medium density, high density polyethylene, soft touch, this material is less used.

Sensory identification: Compared with LDPE, the transparency of this product is much higher than that of LDPE. The feel is not different from LDPE. The tear test is very similar to PP film, and it is transparent and pure white.

Identification of combustion: When the product is burned, the flame is all yellow, melted and dripped, no black smoke, and the smell is like oil.
